Learn about Custom Cornea Lasik

The LASIK procedure (Laser Assisted Surgical In-situ Keratomileusis) is designed to reduce or eliminate the need for glasses in people who are nearsighted or farsighted, with or without astigmatism. In this procedure LASER is used to create a very thin, superficial "flap" on the outer surface of the cornea. This "flap" remains attached to the cornea on one side (hinge). The "flap" is gently lifted to expose an area of the cornea that is to be reshaped by the laser.

In LASIK surgery, we use a laser to re-shape the cornea to re-focus the light onto the retina.

*Please remember, not all procedures are like the average procedure.
