Correction Procedures: phaser Adverse Events Again, PHASER surgery is quite new and therefore there are no long-term statistics available. Still, the lenses used in PHASER surgery are identical to the lenses used in cataract surgery and therefore some adverse events can be predicted.
Significant complications resulting in severe and permanent vision loss, or even the loss of an eye, can occur with any refractive procedure. However serious complications such as these are very, very rare. The discussion of adverse effects and complications is necessarily incomplete. Additional complications can be discussed at AAPECS Eye Care. MORE INFORMATION |
